Yemen Soft was the chief sponsor of the 2nd E-Commerce conference in Yemen which was held from 5 to 7 April, 2021 in Grand Address Hotel (formerly Sheraton Hotel). The conference was organized by the Federation of Yemen Chambers of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with We are All Creative organization. A number of papers were presented by local speakers and international speakers who presented their papers form their countries via Zoom.Yemen Soft presented a paper by Adel Al-Beedh, the manager of e-wallet project. The paper highlighted the role of tech companies in developing e.wallets. Through collaboration with Central Bank, these companies can offer services for commercial banks and telecommunications companies that offer electro nic money. Partnership with a pioneer company like Yemen Soft could further financial inclusion by facilitating e-procurement through thousands of points of sale that use Yemen Soft systems throughout Yemen. A statement was also given by Yemen Soft CMO, Hashim Nedhal, in which he presented company experience for three decades of development till reaching ‘absolute trust’. The conference 3rd day was concluded with a set of important recommendations that are expected to play a significant role in developing e-commerce in Yemen.
