On Thursday, November 10, at Al-Razi University in Sana’a, the Yemeni Accountants Syndicate organized an event to celebrate the International Accounting Day and the Sixth Yemeni Accountant Day under the main sponsorship of Yemensoft for systems and consulting.
During the ceremony, attended by Fouad Ahmed Naji, the Director of Syndicates at the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor, the head of the Yemeni Accountants Syndicate, Adnan Al-Aghbari, indicated that the Syndicate’s role is reflected in rebuilding the interests, services and professional activities of accountants with future ideas and means of quick remote access and direct change to benefit from touch technology to reach results affecting accountants professionalism and their institutions.
Al-Aghbari pointed to the active role of Yemeni universities in activating accounting education through cooperation and partnership that contribute to building the accountant profile with details of business financing, organization, governance principles and behaviors, and empowering him with technology skills.
On his part, the President of Al-Razi University, Dr. Khalil Al-Wajih, considered the International Accounting Day and the Yemeni Accountant Day a good occasion to shed light on the accounting syndicate work, its concerns, requirements and aspirations that serve and develop the accountant.
Mr. Hashem Nedhal, Yemensoft CMO, delivered a speech in which he emphasized the necessity of modernizing educational curricula, theoretically and practically, and developing applied materials that keep pace with the rapid technological developments to obtain outcomes that meet the requirements of the labor market. He explained how Yemensoft has been a sponsor and incubator for the accountant since its establishment in 1993. It provided its first accounting system for free, in addition to free training courses on its most important accounting systems in more than one language via the Internet, as well as free copies of its systems to all accredited auditors. The company had early interest in applying international accounting standards in all its solutions used by commercial, service and industrial sectors.
The ceremony included a reportage on the nature of the work of the Yemeni Accountants Syndicate and the most important solutions of Yemensoft. A number of distinguished accountants and supporting, participating agencies were honored in the event.
